As we know it

Sunday 18 May 2003, 02:01 WST

Ok, well Saturday morning, I call iiNet and organise my account to be switch to some pre-paid $10 a month job. Upshot, I get to keep my web page and e-mail address. Woo!

I’ve moved in with my parents, rent and bill free. Free food, etc, just as long as I keep tidy and don’t piss them off. Cool, this should let me save up some cash to pay off the car loan, credit card, and other debits I’ve managed to get myself into.

Also means I have to cut down on the bender weekends, a good thing. Of course I still want to go out, I seem to have developed a sort of “stay at home on weekends” phobia. I suppose it’s because I don’t really feel like I’m getting anywhere unless I do it.

Of course, then I’m getting nowhere financially. So once again budget time for Orko. Luckly I don’t have phone, power, water, rent, and food expenses anymore. This should allow me to pay off the car loan and credit card much quicker.

Of course I have the expense of a new good pair of glasses coming up. This would set me back about $500 dollars, then fixing the holes in my teeth, $440, then braces to get them straight…

$4000+

So I’m really going to have to get everything sorted and start my part time business, otherwise it’s going to be a tough time for me.

This weekend so far has been fun. Hanging around my friends all day, planning to see The Matrix Reloaded (which of course ended up never happening). That doesn’t matter though, the company has been cool as always, and the topics of discussion interesting.

And as always, the fun arguing with my friend Boopie. I really think she’s trying to trump UV in the arguement stakes.

It’s the end of the world!

Well, just this web page unfortunately. Since the new place I was going to move in to has fallen through, I’ve had to cancel my ADSL account with iiNet. Which of course means my e-mail and web page will also disappear, I’ve archived the web page, and hopefully I’ll be able to continue with the e-mail and hosting.

Hmm, what else. I’ve seen The Matrix Reloaded, nice movie. Cool action scenes, fighting, effects, all the cool bullet-time stuff you would expect. Plot could be a bit thin on the ground, but seriously, who goes to movies like this to worry about the plot?

Although X-Men 2 has plot, it doesn’t haven’t nearly as much cool stuff.
Anyway, go see it, that’s my opinion.
